Welcome! We are dealing with the long-term results of war and the response of Fulaa Lifeline International, Inc., is twofold: 1) First is our ministry to refugees who are arriving in the United States. 2) Second is our ministry to the victims of persecution, slavery, and civil war who are still living in the Sudan and in the refugee camps in Uganda and Kenya. You can make a difference. Join with Fulaa to bring Joy and Hope to the forgotten people of southern Sudan. We can make a difference together! Contribute what you can, come and be a part of the human relief effort in-country, and pray for the people of Sudan. Events in the past few months in the Darfur region of Sudan and now in the Shilluk area demonstrated the same problems which have existed for over 40 years in the Sudan. Millions of Sudanese children have been killed, and thousands of men, women and the elderly die each day. Thousands have been taken as slaves by the National Islamic Front (NIF) in Khartoum, but the situation has received little attention. Today as you watch the news on your television, you may hear little about these continuing situations. Today militias supported by the Sudan government continue to kill Christians in the south and even Muslims outside the Arab areas. We are grateful for concern shown for Sudan by members of the U.S. Congress in the past few years, but the U.N. continues to pursue essentially a "hands off" policy toward Sudan, declining to investigate the use of chemical weapons and other abuses in the south. |
